Joints coming apart in stools of Breakfast set

Purchased a Breakfast set of a table, and two stools in August 2016. After about 4 weeks was surprised to see that the joints on the stools were coming apart due to dry joints. Contacted the seller and was asked to fill in an on-line form, and to enclose photographs of the problem.This I did and received a reply stating that they did not operate a joint re-gluing service, and gave me a list of options open to me.The stools could be exchanged, but they would be unable to match the colour, or they could offer me compensation. As the item was only purchased because it was an ideal size to fit in my very small kitchen, I decided to accept their offer of compensation. But imagine my surprise to be offered just £20, which I considered an insult, for an item which cost£254, which of course I refused. The answer I got was they were not prepared to increase the £20 offer, and I could take it or leave it. So I informed them that if that was the case, could they please, under the terms of the statuary warranty, to arrange to pick up the complete Breakfast set, and issue me with a full refund. Needless to say I have heard nothing since. Would most certainly recommend anyone to purchase anything from this company.

Well after waiting for two weeks to get my order which says assembled only slight assembled required to find out it's flat packed won't the *** a1300 hundred wardrobe reduced to 601 well robed it's a joke read a review saying no refund after months best get mine in the ten days they state or a lawyer awaits will never shop again with this firm be aware off the *** oak land have my order now and am getting the solid furiture I wanted

Kids Granada Bed Ordered just before Christmas 2015
I am very worried for anyone doing business with this company. I ordered the above item before Christmas 2015. I cancelled the order two weeks ago as their Bristol Branch kept on lying to me. At one point I was told to expect a call from the manufacturers for a delivery date. This did not happen and I was later informed that they were no longer working with the suppliers. For each sales rep I spoke to there was a different story. Now i have not received my refund. To say the truth I had nursed these fears for months due to their lack of transparency and little professionalism in handling the order. Their Bristol branch appears to be the headquater for false promises and fraudulent deeds. I will be reporting them to Watch Dog as they have left me with no choice and I am paying a huge interest on my credit card as I had to buy a different bed for child. I want my money refunded plus any interest it has earned them for nearly three months. Be very very afraid of this company.!!!

I ordered from Oak Furniture Solutions as I thought I was buying what the website was advertising, solid oak and pine. The Camden unit arrived and is constructed of oak and pine but also from MDF, they fail to tell you that. Furthermore the workmanship was poor. The item was badly constructed, had faults on the lacquer finish and had an unpleasant odour. I immediately asked for a return and the company seriously needs to look at the UK legislation as it falls well short. Needless to say, although it took them a week to collect and a further week to refund me, I got there in the end. No help from them. Don't be fooled into thinking this is solid wood furniture, it's far from it.

Wrong size bed received
I placed a large order for bedroom furnture not in stock at the time, i asked for split delivery when items came in, they said ok. Had to ring when some items apparently became in stock and mentioned the split delivery they had confirmed as i was in need of the bed. bed came and i thought great the wardrobe came same day in appalling packaging no wonder it was damaged the mirror also came and had very large black stain areas. Arranged for collection of wardrobe and mirror and asked for replacements, still unaware the bedstead was the wrong size paid for king size. Later when i had assembled the bed did it become clear that it was neither a king nor a double but a queen size? Rang them said i could not return it because i had assermbled it and that it would take a kingsize mattress. (still paid for a king) In view of this i cancelled my entire order. My new mattress arrived (different company) Only just fit no room for tucking in the bedding. Found the whole experience upsetting.

Lied lied lied and did not deliver
Oak Furniture Solutions of 16 Arlington Place Bristol did not deliver my goods. The took my money six weeks ago and every time I telephoned them or the courier, I was told complete lies all the time that it had been despatched. This happened on numerous occasions. They simply do not know what they are doing, except taking money. Every time I telephoned them, they told me it will be Wednesday and had been sorted and then on the Wednesday, they said it will be done by Monday, over and over again. They are completely incompetent and liars. I have now demanded my money back. I am still waiting .................

Oak furniture Solutions don't have a branch in Bristol and don't sell this bed. You probably mean another company, maybe Oak Furniture Land
I've just cancelled my order they say up to ten days for refund as my order was ready assembled but was flat packed well pissed will never shop again with them
We do not sell this bed and we do not have a Bristol branch. Maybe this review is for another company.?
